Kermit and Miss Piggy

My cousin loves telling people my first love was Mr. Kermit the Frog. Apparently, when I was 2-years-old, I was ‘lost in love’ with the little green guy. That story inspired the Kermit and Miss Piggy board.

A pink and green wedding can be fun and vibrant with hot pink and green apple or it can be soft and elegant with pale pinks and sage greens. Either option will be stunning in moderation. There can be a tendency to overdo a good thing so remember to add muted tones (whites and creams) to offset the bolder colors.

Aside from the dress and the cake, flowers make the next biggest statement. Favor Ideas has some suggestions to finding the best shades to fit your color scheme: pink peonies or zingy tulips, blushing roses or stargazer lilies; and for green, kermit mums, cymbidium orchids and hypericum berries, small green apples or zesty limes.

If you are like me and like the idea of three main colors, try brown. Coffee beans, chocolates, candles, etc. will tie in lovely with your theme and add a richness to your decor.
