This month’s featured photographer continues to stun me with her knack for finding beauty in the simplest of subjects, of taking what seems ordinary and turning it into vibrant, classy hotness. In fact, that’s probably how I would describe her work, simple beauty, along with gritty loveliness, urban sexy, modern whimsy, and aggressive gentleness.

Luvsick Media is based in Atlanta, GA but has close ties to California, New York, and Miami. The photographer, and largely the brain of this particular website, Louise Gill uses her varying roles as sex symbol, wife, mother, friend, entrepreneur, artist, and beauty lover to infuse her work with relentless heart and style. The term, “Trash the Dress” was new to me but the more I started seeing some amazing pictures of post-nuptial photoshoots I adore the idea. I would have loved to have the opportunity to be more creative with our wedding album and have some pictures taken outside of our venue while being our goofy, romantic selves. If you are like me and don’t plan on keeping your wedding dress in pristine condition, you may want to consider talking with a photographer about doing some after-the-big-day photos and really taking advantage of posing the way you want, where you want, without worrying about keeping everything clean and wrinkle free.

We have a wonderful update! You may have heard me mention LuvSick Media, which is my design company. Well, I am moving into the photography field with my great friend, CTEcreative. Today, I was able to attend the wedding of Maria and Ken and took a number of shots of this beautiful reception at Wildfire Restaurant in Atlanta, GA. Maria and Ken had a professional photographer on hand so I stayed out of his way and tried to photograph the small details that make wedding photography unique. Enjoy!
