Every once in a while my husband will glance at our little website and skim through all of this “girly stuff” so this post is in hopes he decides to take a peek. Hello, Lover! Brides Magazine did a feature on black diamonds and I think they are absolutely gorgeous for the modern bride wanting a non traditional wedding ring.

For the wikipedia guru, here’s a little background on black diamonds:
“Carbonado, commonly known as the ‘Black Diamond,’ is a natural polycrystalline diamond found in alluvial deposits in the Central African Republic and Brazil. Its natural colour is black or dark grey, and it is more porous than other diamonds.”

Don’t fret about finding a match for your husband’s band. There are plenty of options for your man too.

 

I, like many other brides, bought shoes specifically for my wedding that are way too fancy to be practical for anything else. If shoes are your weakness, consider getting a great pair that can be worn again after your big day. If you are really adventurous, get colorful and pick shoes that match one of your wedding colors.
