This board was inspired by the image of a Hawaiian sunset. mmm, Hawaii. Purple happens to be my favorite color, and the deep plum paired with that vibrant orange makes my heart beat a little faster. The star patterned lattern can be found online at the paper lantern store, the bridesmaid dresses are by one of our favorite designers–jim hjelm, and the gemstones are amethyst and carnelian. We are organizing a destination wedding in Jamaica and the couple fell in love with the feel of pink and orange that will play off the blues and greens of the location. We created this inspiration board to help jump start the planning process.

In case it hasn’t been made obviously clear, I have a chocolate addiction. I love the color, the texture, and the taste, not to mention it’s extremely versatile. In kind, this week’s board pairs that lovely hue with a color I think compliments and is complimented perfectly by it, sky blue. If you ask me, this color combination isn’t used enough.
