While gathering the info for our ITD Top 5 Inspiration Boards post, I came across a really gorgeous Indian Wedding Board. I love Indian weddings–all those bright colors, delicious dishes, and moments of celebration. So, here’s the board I was inspired to create for those of you participating in, celebrating, or just desiring to appreciate the beauty of an Indian influenced wedding.

To compliment our current Inspiration Board Contest –which ends next week–this month’s top 5 encompasses the most inspiring, beautifully created, and uniquely combined boards we’ve found thus far. Yes, a few of these boards are done by professional designers. However, this shouldn’t discourage anyone from trying their hand at creating a visual for their own wedding/event inspiration. If you’ve got the vision, you’re at least one step in the right direction!

One of my splurge items for weddings is photography. There is nothing like looking back at the most fabulous pictures from the day your friends and family came together to support you. In that same vein, we do not recommend you spending your life savings to hire the “IT” photographer of the moment. Find inspiration from those with the heavy price tags and try to incorporate the style you love with a photographer in your price range.
Chris + Lynn Photography is a perfect example. We have included some amazing shots from their portfolio to hopefully inspire you and your vision.

It’s February already, and for lovers, this month is equated with romance and passion. In honor of this month for loving, we offer our Valentine’s Day inspired and inspiring board. This romance in red and white has tinge of the sexy–check out the shoes if you doubt it–but if you are looking to get a little more holiday-ish, adding a touch of pink to your flowers, tables, and/or accessories is sure to do the trick. Also, more traditional brides who really want to wear the white can really spice things up by adorning the white with a red sash, some red accessories, and some really hot red shoes. If you have some of your own ideas for a perfectly gorgeous red and white wedding, let us hear your thoughts!
The Wedding gown is by Maggie Fiorenza, both bridesmaids’ gowns are by Mori Lee, and the paint dripped shoes are by Sergio Rossi.

Of course, we couldn’t let December pass without focusing our inspiration efforts to those who view winter as the perfect time for pledging unending love. It’s the perfect time for it if you are a die-hard romantic and love nothing better than getting really close and cozy with the holder of your heart. Between Christmas, New Years, and Valentine’s Day, there are plenty of opportunities to celebrate love while Jack Frost is out there nipping noses. However, if you don’t want the typical red and white common for Christmas and valentine weddings, take a look at this Frosty White and Arctic Blue board we have put together.
