Pink & Orange Inspiration

We are organizing a destination wedding in Jamaica and the couple fell in love with the feel of pink and orange that will play off the blues and greens of the location. We created this inspiration board to help jump start the planning process.

Spring Theme Color Scheme

It’s the beginning of March and spring is just around the corner. While those of you saying “I Do” this year have probably already got your color ideas in the bag, We put together a few of our favorite color combos with this glorious season in mind you late starts and those of you thinking about next year’s budding time. These schemes were generated with DeGreave.com, but Big Huge Labs is also a great palette generating tool.

Spring makes me think of Sunflowers and Daisies. This Yellow and Green Paletter certainly plays out well for weddings featuring either of those two gems. If you want to lighten things up a bit, try replacing the browns with shades of blue to get a nice earth, sun, and sky motiff going.

You don’t get much girlier than pink and purple. However, the beautiful thing about this palette is it uses both dark and light shades so that your love and your guests don’t get quesy with that super sweet color combo. Plus the pale blue will tone things down quite a bit.

Of all the combos, I’d have to say this is my favorite. It’s rich without being too garish, and it’s bright without blinding the eye. The aqua also makes me think of a tropic sea, so this is a great one for summer weddings too.

Finally, this orange and pink palette screams fun, energy, and oddly enough, romance(must be the pink). Orange is always good for a nice visual kick while the pink softens and lightens the intensity.
